Getting The Details Right

Founded in 2013, by partners and long-time colleagues David Stafford, Jeff Searock & Steve Searock, the company is focused on delivering outstanding service and technical expertise to clients in Los Angeles and throughout California.

The Firm

Searock + Stafford CM is a Construction Management and Cost Consulting firm.

At Searock Stafford CM, we measure our success by the success that our clients achieve. Our core values are accountability, client advocacy, honesty and diligence. We manage project entitlement, design, permitting, construction, schedule, quality and cost for clients who may not have the in house expertise or the staffing required to implement the delivery of building projects. Combined we have more than 70 years of experience delivering a wide range of projects in California.

What is a Construction Manager/Owner’s Representative and why do I need one?

A construction manager (CM) or owner’s representative acts in the best interest of project stakeholders or building owner’s to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and cost effectively. CM’s add value through careful planning of construction projects and subsequent execution of that plan. An effective CM is the cornerstone of a project and is responsible for managing designers, regulatory agencies and contractors, solving project challenges in the Owner’s best interest and fostering a positive team dynamic; all with an eye toward what is best for the Owner and the project.

Services

PROJECT AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

We provide a wide range of services from comprehensive project and construction management to strategic support and staff augmentation. We take the time to understand your desired outcome for a project, your culture and your constraints. We then implement an approach that is tailored accordingly. Our approach is founded on diligence, detail and “boots on the ground” construction experience. From the day you identify a need to build to the day you occupy your new or renovated building, we will be your trusted advocate.

COST CONSULTING AND ESTIMATING

Our approach to estimating is founded on the principle of “virtually building” projects to ensure comprehensive forecasting and reporting of cost. We utilize innovative quantity surveying software to graphically illustrate quantities and scope. Our approach is tailored to each client and project with a focus on providing cost information necessary for stakeholders to make critical financial decisions.

What Our Clients Are Saying

Having done this for a lot of years both in this capacity and with my own projects you guys were far and away the best I ever encountered and or worked with. Knowledge, experience, organizational skills, follow through, everything was always done well.

It is rare and refreshing to find a business partner who measures their own success by the level of success their client achieves. They are our consultant, confidante, helper, facilitator and friend.

During the three years I have worked with David Stafford as our Owner’s rep he has been attentive to our needs, conscientious, meticulous and highly effective in both individual and group settings.

If you need to explain to your CM what your requirements are, then it’s time to engage a company who understands and sees things from the Owner’s perspective. Searock + Stafford CM gets it.

In you the Skirball was fortunate to find a consummate professional, a calm voice a steady hand, a conscientious and dedicated partner in every stage of the planning and building.

Steve and his team worked closely with the College to the point that they were considered college employees by many Westmont staff.
