Oakwood School Pedestrian Bridge
Oakwood School Pedestrian Bridge
North Hollywood, California
Designed by Levin & Associates, the Oakwood School Pedestrian Bridge spans Magnolia Blvd. to connect the north and south campuses of the Oakwood upper school. The bridge connects to the second floor of existing buildings so that students can safely cross the busy street. The City approval process for the bridge was incredibly complex, as the bridge supports are on private property but the bridge spans public property. The bridge is the first phase of a twenty-year master plan project.
